A few important reminders:
- We will never ask for your PIN number or the expiration date on your debit or credit card.
- We will never ask for your Secure Access Code via eMail, text or phone. Only enter your Secure Access Code on your device’s login screen when you are using it.
- We will never ask for any information via eMail. If we do need account information, this information will be gathered by phone and confirmed against our records.
- Never give out your account number, or other personal information, to anyone that you are not 100% certain is an employee of First United Bank.
- If you receive a questionable call claiming to be from First United Bank, hang up and call (855) 382-7827 (FUB STAR).
- Never send money to someone you don’t know using any peer-to-peer payment method. If you have made a purchase online, receive your goods before paying for them.
